Vallée des Saints
A project of monumental statues in Brittany.
The idea behind this project is to create a "3rd millenium Breton Easter Island", a spiritual place honouring the memory of Breton saints.
This project aims to install large granite statues approximately 3 m tall representing 1 000 Breton saints.
The work began in July 2009 with the carving of 7 founder saints of Brittany and it is hoped that by the end of 2012 the Vallée des Saints will boast 27 sculptures.
